I hope you all are enjoying our beautiful weather (well with the exception of the tornado warning last night)! LOL. We still have A LOT of great events coming down the pipeline before the end of season so we hope to see you out at some of them. Here is what we have coming down the line in the next few weeks:
Wednesday, February 17th CONDO BOARD Meeting at 6:30PM
Thursday, February 18th Incredible Edible Workshop at 10:00AM A signature “show and tell” class demonstrating how to create Edible Vegetable and Fruit Centerpieces, Melon Carousels, Squash Terrine, Tomato Roses and Zucchini and Watermelon Boats. Instructed by Charlotte Ann Albertson of Albertson Cooking School of Philadelphia (http://www.albertsoncookingschool.com/). Each attendee receives a complimentary miniature bottle of premium Polish Vodka and cookbooks will be raffled. The class will last approx. 2 Hours and is called “Please Eat The Daisies”. Cost to attend is $8 per person. All proceeds the instructor makes after expenses are donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand.
Thursday, February 18th HOA Board Meeting at 6:30PM
Saturday, February 20th Viva Las Vegas Casino Night from 6:30PM-10:00PM. Join us for our 2nd Annual Viva Las Vegas Casino Night! This year we are omitting the dinner buffet so we can make the casino twice as BIG and give out twice as many prizes. Cost to attend is $25 per person and includes Texas Hold-em Poker, Craps, Roulette, Black Jack, Slot Machines & $5,000 in Playing Chips. Price includes Snacks/Party Trays/Pizza, Beer/Wine, Water and Soda. All gaming tables will have professional dealers. You will be playing for raffle prizes and gift certificates! One of our residents has (4) tickets she is trying to sell since she just found out she can’t attend the event, so please let me know if anyone else is looking for more tickets or wants to attend on Saturday. We will have a FULL HOUSE!
Friday, Feburary 26th Cocktail Party from 5:30-7:30PM Stop by and meet your neighbors at the monthly Cocktail Night! Bring an appetizer or dessert to share. BYOB, soft drinks will be provided. Entry is FREE. RSVP by Wednesday, February 24th. Live music from Stacey Knights. lease remember, this is a BYOB event. If you do not bring your own wine, please do not drink others. As always, soda and water is supplied courtesy of your HOA.
Saturday, March 5th Community Trip to Key West on the Key West Express from Marco Island I was incorrect on information I sent out earlier regarding this trip. The group rate is $100 per person pending we have a group of 15 people. We currently need (6) more people to sign up so we can get the group rate. If you were to have an emergency or get sick and could not make it on the 5th, you would still be able to use your ticket on another date up to a year. However, your excuse for missing the March 5th date would have to be approved to avoid the $25 change fee on a future trip.
Saturday, April 2nd End of Season Authentic Polynesian Luau Families are welcome!
