Well.. Almost.. The Official start of the Summer season is This weekend !!… With that comes a lot of fun in the Sun and Good Times at the Pool here in Marbella Lakes for Many of our residents.
In that Spirit I would like to ask All to Please be Respectful of your Neighbors’ right to enjoy a relaxing pool day and be mindful of the Rules and Regulations regarding the use of the Pool area and Clubhouse Facilities. The pool and spa are open from 8am to dusk ( half hour before sunset ). NO rafts or floats ( other than “water wings” or safety related flotation devices ) are allowed in the pool or spa. “Throwing” of objects ( including balls, frisbees etc. ) in the pool or pool area is also prohibited as are radios without the use of personal “ear buds”. I can’t believe I have to say this… but.. no electrically operated vehicles (other than wheelchairs) are allowed in the pool area.. Residents and guests under 18 years of age need to be accompanied and supervised by a Resident Adult 21 or older.( If you cannot see your children, you are not supervising them. ) This includes the Game room and indoor Basketball court. As a resident ( 21 or older ) you are authorized (4) guests per household at any given time to Accompany you in the recreational areas and you are fully responsible for their actions. The Kiddie Pool is a GREAT area for our younger residents age 12 and under with watchful adult supervision. Proper attire is expected in the Clubhouse and indoor basketball court. This means no wet bathing suits and shirts and shoes are to be worn at all times ( for both men and women )..
The improper use of the basketball court has been an issue in the past, so as a reminder.. The Rules require shirts and proper “athletic type” shoes be worn at all times. The court is for basketball only unless otherwise approved by the Board in advance. The Association has recently repainted the walls of the court and I would ask that the hoops or at least the back board be the target of thrown balls. The entire court and Clubhouse area is under video surveillance 24 hrs a day and residents will be held responsible for damage caused by improper use of the facilities.
There’s no food or drink allowed in the pool / spa or on the pool deck except for the seating areas and no glass containers at all. Please do not dispose of food items ( including empty containers ) in the outdoor trash cans. This attracts raccoons and other unwanted animals. The complete Rules and Regulations are available in the Association Declaration Documents under “forms and documents” on the Community website.
One last note to help ensure a pleasant experience for All.. While the Association and staff work very hard to maintain a “Resort-like Facility” for the enjoyment of our residents and guests.. This is in reality “Your” neighborhood.. so please put chairs, tables and umbrellas back where you found them and clean up after yourself at the end of the day.. If everyone does their part and remains courteous and respectful of others, it should make for an enjoyable Summer for everybody..
Once again… I hope all have a Great Summer !! and Please feel free to contact me or any of the staff if you need assistance.
