Last Call for Trivia Night Friday & Neighbors Night Out Saturday at Senor Tequilas!

Hello Residents,
Well we are quickly sailing through the second week in March, hard to believe season is almost over!  We have a couple of events this week that if you are interested in attending, final reservations are due.  Here is what is coming up this week:

Friday, March 11 from 5:30-7:30PM  Little Pete’s Food Truck Onsite at the Clubhouse serving up their delicious Italian sandwiches.  All residents are welcome to stop by and purchase food (you do not have to be attending Trivia Night).  A Big Bite of Brooklyn, On The Go.  Chef Peter Della Rocca proudly presents a neighborhood Italian food truck serving up four generations of authentic Napolitano style cooking.  Welcome to Little Pete’s, the ultimate in Italian eating.  If you like Parmesan Pete’s Restaurant, this is their new food truck.  Their menu that night includes: Meatball Parmesan Hero; Chicken Parmesean Hero; Broccoli Rabe & Sausage Hero; Italian Cold Cut on Flatbread and Sausage and Peppers Hero.  All sandwiches are $9.00 Each Plus Tax and the truck only accepts CASH.  Side Items include Rice Balls ($2.50 Each); Cannoli ($2.50 Each) and Sweet Potato Fries ($3.00 Each).

Friday, March 11th TEAM TRIVIA NIGHT from 6PM-9PM in the Basketball Room                 Break your group into teams of (6) and choose a Team Captain.  If you don’t know (6) people participating, don’t worry, we will place you in a group. There will be (4) Rounds of (10) questions each. Scores will be updated after each round.  If any team ties, they will be invited to star on real GAME SHOW Podiums.  This night will be a blast. It comes with a full sound system, projector for questions, game show podiums and the official “GAME SHOW ANNOUCER”.  Cost to attend Trivia Night is $10 a person (price includes water, soda, snacks and entertainment). BYOB.  We encourage all attendees to purchase dinner from the onsite food truck but the food is not included in the cost of your event ticket.

Saturday, March 12th Neighbors Night Out at Senor Tequila’s at 6:00PM     Señor Tequila’s Fine Mexican Grill is family owned and operated. Mr. Miguel Fletes, one of the owners, is the proud chef. He oversees preparation of the menu, making sure, it provides the home made flavor using their multigenerational recipes; fresh-daily vegetables and spices imported from Mexico to deliver mouth watering meals.  RSVP by March 10th and pay on your own.  CLICK HERE TO SEE MENU  A reservation has been made in a private dining area for Marbella Lakes residents and guests. Please do NOT RSVP on this link if you do not plan to sit with the rest of our group as this is a group event!  The private dining room only seats 25 people so don’t delay and RSVP today.

Saturday, March 26th Easter Egg Hunt/Family Fun Day from 9:30AM-12:00PM
We are sprucing up our annual Easter Egg Hunt this year by adding (2) Inflatables to the FUN.  We will have an 18′ Screamer Dry Slide and a 30′ Obstacle Course set up for kids of all ages to enjoy.  The Egg Hunt will begin at 9:30AM and is for children 10 and under only.  Your child will need to bring their own basket. There will be treats in every egg and a few eggs will have a GOLDEN TICKET which can be redeemed for a bigger prize!   After the hunt, there will be a light breakfast served in the Social Room. The inflatables will be available for all the neighborhood kids to enjoy until 12:00PM.  There is no cost for residents to attend this event; however, guests will be charged $5.00 per person. Please RSVP no later then March 21st.

Monday, March 28th BINGO from 6:30-8:00PM

Wednesday, March 30th Cooking Class at Artichoke and Company Event Venue from 11:30-2:00PM  Join us as one of the top catering chefs in the area prepares a delicious meal right before your very eyes. The cooking demo will start at 11:30am and last about two and half hours.  All guests will get to try everything the chef demos and will also get to take home recipes to try on their own.  We have to have (20) residents confirmed to attend this class by March 14th so we can make it happen.  Cost is $35 per person all inclusive. That price includes (1) Glass of House Red or White Wine per person, Ice Tea and Water.  The cooking demo will feature their “Under The Tuscan” Menu consisting of:  Grilled Tuscan Bruschetta with Creamy Gorgonzola and Honey Roasted Walnuts; Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms; Eggplant Rollintini stuffed with ricotta cheese, fresh basil and a touch of tomato; Lightly breaded chicken with lemon over mixed greens salad; Whipped Marscopone Cheese with Chocolate Liquor and Lady Finger Cookies.The venue is located right off of the Bonita Springs I-75 exit on Bonita Beach Road. We will carpool from the clubhouse at 11:00AM.

Saturday, April 2nd End of Season Authentic Polynesia Luau from 6:30-9:30PM  Our BIG end-of-the season party will fall a little earlier then normal this year so we can catch Tuika’s Polynesian Island Magic before they return to Pennsylvania for the summer. This will be a full, authentic, Polynesian Luau complete with professional Hula Dancers,  Live Musicians and a Fire Dancer.  This family-friendly event will start with Lei Greetings for all guests. You can take pictures with our Hula Dancers upon arrival.  Enjoy a delicious themed menu of tropical delicacies featuring: roasted pork tenderloin via Chef’s Carving station with Polynesian BBQ and Horseradish; Fire grilled chicken breast; Polynesian Fried Rice; Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes; Tropical Grilled Vegetables; Coco Loco Salad; Hawaiian Rolls with Pineapple Honey Butter and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. (We will have a special kid-friendly meal for the children).  Dinner will be followed by the BIG SHOW, filled with beautiful costumes and authentic songs and dances of the islands. There will be plenty of audience participation so grab your grass skirt and “Hula” on over to the clubhouse in April as we celebrate another season coming to close. Cost to attend is $30 for adults and $15 for children.
