Landscape Updates

Marbella Lakes officially received permission from the County to remove the oak trees in front of the single-family homes and condominium buildings. The Board of Directors met on Tuesday, July 31st to discuss and approve bids for the Oak Tree removal. The Board of Directors unanimously agreed and approved the bid for Johnson’s Tree Service to complete the project.  The BOD all agreed to start with Phase I of this project to remove the trees in front of the single-family homes and will explore options on adding trees throughout the community in the future after consulting with a landscape architect for recommendations. The condo’s will have new hardwood trees replaced immediately.

Johnson’s Tree Service will be out next week, (August 6, 2018) to begin the removal of the Live Oaks, grind down the tree stumps, remove the excess mulch and prep the area to be resodded.   Once the project is completed, Greenscapes will schedule to sod the bare areas.

Johnson’s Tree Service will also have another crew in the Community next week to begin the palm tree and hardwood trimming throughout the community.

Our main irrigation box was recently struck by lightning, so all of our clocks had to be rewired due to the strike.  All of irrigation clocks have been fixed and everything has been tested and working properly.  Luckily we have begun to receive rain again this week which will green everything up quickly.  The irrigation timers are set to run on Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday’s.  Please note, the irrigation will not come on if it rains within a 24 hour period.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.
