Hello Condo Residents,
The below message was to be included with the post yesterday regarding the FIRE PREVENTION RULES:
Many of our residents have already left for the season so I am going to wait to reschedule our informational session with Robert Berman, from the North Collier Fire Department, until fall.
However, the board is taking the topic of grills very seriously and we ask that you comply with the mandated Collier County rules as it pertains to where you can use & store grills (gas, electric, etc.).
~Propane Tanks cannot be more than 1 pound in size and you may only have 2 of them in your home.
~Grills must be used in the driveway, 10 feet away from all overhangs.
~Grills MUST be stored in the Garage. You CANNOT store them on the lanai.
While out on weekly property inspections, Lanny and I have observed the storage of grills on the lanai, both upper and lower units. If you are one of these homeowners, please remove the grill immediately. We will be inspecting for grills over the course of the next few weeks. If reported to the Fire Marshall, you may be subject to a fine of $250 per day for violating this Collier County code.
Attached you’ll find a copy of the Collier County fire prevention codes pertaining to the use and storage of grills. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me or the fire department directly. If you are aware of a homeowner that is violating these rules, please contact our property manager so it can be handled appropriately.
Also, due to scheduling conflicts, there will not be a board meeting in the month of May.
