Landscaping Updates:

The pruning team will be finishing Monterey Pt. the week of 6/21/21.  They are 4 days behind schedule on pruning due to rain delays.  They will have extra crew in next week to catch up.   

All requests for maintenance or landscaping should be submitted through the Marbella Lakes website at www.marbellalakeshoa.com to ensure your request is handled promptly.   Please do not use the Appfolio app for landscape requests.

Condo Updates: 

Condo Updates:

Crown Roofing will be completing the roof inspections for the condo’s today unless there are delays from the rain.  If they do not finish, they will be back on Monday to complete all roof inspections for the buildings.

 

Indoor Sports Court – Closed for Event

The Sports Court will be closed at 2 PM today, 6/18/21 and will reopen tomorrow afternoon 6/19/21 after the social event “Simply Wild Nature Show”

Critical Voting Change for a Better Marbella Lakes

This is the most important vote the Marbella Lakes community will have encountered to date.

The Marbella Lakes HOA Board of Directors along with its legal counsel have determined that it is time for the community’s governing documents to be updated because they were originally created by GL Homes (the developer) for its benefit and has clauses which are no longer valid nor relevant.

In order to achieve this goal, we need 75% of the community residents, 368 doors out of 490, to vote in favor of the changes recommended.  Because this is a tremendous hurdle, we need many residents to patriciate in the vote either via eVoting (HOAst) or via postal ballots for those residents that have not opted in to eVoting via HOAst.

For those who have opted in to eVoting via HOAst you will have your opportunity to vote now.  The link to HOAst is https://marbella-lakes.myhoast.com.  If you’re having any issues with HOAst please contact Kym Bill at kbill@swpropmgt.com or John Gardetto at johnny.gardetto@gmail.com .  IT’S NOT TO LATE TO OPT IN TO eVOTING.

If you have not opted in to eVoting you will receive a physical ballot via the postal service mailing.

Please review the included document which will clearly explain the need changes to the governing documents in order to make Marbella Lakes ready for moving forward.

We will be conducting our next Zoom call with the community to explain the reasons for this critical vote on Wednesday, June 23rd at 7:00 PM EDST.  The link is below.

The posted SPEED LIMIT for our community is 20 MPH.  You must STOP at all Stop Signs.  Please respect our community and drive carefully.  Also, please remind guests and visitors to be mindful of the posted speed limits.  This applies to bicycle riders too, who must obey all traffic laws.
