Community Updates & Reminders – 3/27/2020

Poinciana Elementary Teacher Parade – Today at 5:30 pm

We have many students in the community from Poinciana Elementary.   The Teachers from the Elementary School have arranged to do a drive-by Parade for their students today at 5:30 pm in our community.   If you see them driving by, show your support and give them a BIG CHEER & WAVE! It’s so nice to see so many people doing their part to show support to one another during this difficult time.

Clubhouse Amenities Closed

As you know, the HOA clubhouse, exercise room and community pool are temporarily closed until further notice due to COVID-19.

If you need to contact the office personnel, please call or email only.

Landscaping Updates

To Our Clients and Families of Greenscapes

Temporarily postponing weekly mowing until May

In our more than 55 years of business together, we have gone through many major weather events, 9/11, the 2008 financial crisis, and more.

Currently, this is an unprecedented time in our history. The COVID-19 pandemic is having an impact on the health of our loved ones, the way we live our daily lives, the businesses we rely upon, and the health of the global economy. As we continue to navigate through these unchartered waters, Greenscapes is 100% committed to doing the right thing for you, our clients, and the families of Greenscapes.

Our commitment has been at the forefront of every step taken during the past several weeks. Given the rapidly changing COVID-19 recommendations, and in an effort to limit exposure to you, we have made the decision to continue the bi-weekly mowing schedule during the month of April. In doing this, we also limit the exposure of new personnel for the summer training process. This decision is made in support of national efforts to combat the spread of the virus, along with efforts to keep our team members as safe and healthy as possible.

We realize that with limited rainfall and the growth still at a semi dormant state, the impact would be minor. The limiting of staff at this time will go a long way in assuring the well-being of our employees, as it is a top priority. We want to take care of them in the best way we can.

In light of this decision, we want to make sure we give you the best service possible.

Therefore, on non-mow weeks, the teams will remove debris from the property in order to ensure it is kept clean.

We will remain open for as long as the government allows, providing our clients with services. Our back office support will be working remotely in an effort to safeguard our staff. The phones will be answered as normal, service requests will be taken, and any calls needing immediate attention will be transferred to our Client Services team

in order to maintain prompt response. We will also continue to serve you through our website at

Should you have any questions, please reach out to your Client Services Manager or myself.

In this time of great uncertainty, our best defense is to all work together and be good to one another. Stay well, keep safe, and be kind.

Building a great tomorrow together!

Linda Rae Nelson, President

The pruning team is currently pruning Monterey Pt Condo’s and will be moving to the Marbella Lane the week of 03.30.20

Marbella Drive/Whippoorwill Road Extension Landscaping Survey

In April 2019 the County voted to approve the extension of Marbella Lakes Drive and Whippoorwill Road. The project is expected to begin in the fall of 2021. The HOA Board has been working with the Collier County Public Transit & Neighborhood Enhancement Department (PTNE) to design a Survey for property owners to complete on the Marbella Lakes Website. The Survey was designed to answer many of your questions and to determine the interest of Marbella Lakes owners in pursuing potential landscape and lighting enhancements to the new roadway. Your cooperation in completing the Survey is important and appreciated by the Board. Future informational meetings are being planned.

Please click on the link below

Note: you must be logged in to access the survey or you will get a page not found.  You can also access the survey on the website under Important Notices

We all do better when we work together (while practicing social distancing)!

Stay safe and healthy everyone!

Have a great weekend!
