Collier County Transportation Planning Meeting

Presentation & Discussion – Whippoorwill Road Extension

Collier County Transportation Planning Team will be coming to Marbella Lakes to give an interactive discussion regarding the conceptual plan for the Whippoorwill Road Extension.  This is your opportunity for residents to get updated information, ask questions and voice your concerns regarding the proposed project.  I encourage everyone to attend.

 

Architectural Review Committee – Looking for Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to sit on the Architectural Review Committee.  ARB Committee members will need to be available to meet either by teleconference or in person at scheduled ARB Committee Meetings as requests are submitted for review and approval.  The duties of the ARB Committee are only to approve and/or disapprove architectural review applications for the single family homes as well as landscaping modification requests.

Marbella Lakes Owners Association Annual Meeting and Election

January 31, 2018

The Annual Meeting will be held for the purpose of electing five (5) Directors to the Board of Directors of the Marbella Lakes Owners Association.  Three (3) Directors shall be elected by the Class “A” Members (Homes) and two (2) Directors shall be elected by the Class “C” Members  (Condominium) all for a one (1) year term. 

A 2nd notice will be mailed out with the candidates who have submitted their intent to run, ballot and proxy information, along with instructions on voting.  Please note, a quorum is required to conduct the Election and Annual Meeting. The quorum for the Membership (30%) is a total of 147 Homes and Condominium Units represented either in person or by proxy.  

 

Club House Pool Furniture

We are still waiting on our new cushions for the 3 double seat loungers which are expected to arrive within the next few weeks.

We have put a temporary cushion on one of the double seated lounge chairs for your use until our new cushions arrive.  Thank you for your patience. 

 

Sports Court Closed

The indoor sports court will be closed on Friday, 1/11/19 at 10 am and will reopen on Sunday morning, 1/13/19 due to a Social event at the Clubhouse.

 

COMMUNITY REMINDERS

Parking

Parking over the sidewalk, on the grass, blocking driveways, and in the street or swales is prohibited.  Please do not park in front of mailboxes or fire hydrants.  Marked service vehicles may park in the street ONLY while performing services on a home or unit.  The HOA and your neighbors respectfully asks all residents to adhere to these rules at all times.  The HOA is sending out violation notices regarding these items and will result in towing if not corrected. 

Overflow and guest parking is not allowed in the Clubhouse parking lot.  Overnight parking is allowed on Laguna Circle.  All vehicles must have a a guest pass displayed on the dash board or a bar code on the window. 

 

Speed Limit

As a REMINDER the posted SPEED LIMIT for our community is 20 MPH. Please respect our community and drive carefully.  Please STOP at all stop signs and please SLOW down.
