Power Washing- Single Family Homes begins on Monday

Elite Pressure Washing will begin pressure washing the sidewalks and driveways for the single-family homes beginning Monday October 26th.

If you do not want your driveway/walkway cleaned, please email to opt out of cleaning.

Street Schedule: approximately 15-20 driveways/sidewalks will be done per day.

Week of 10/26:

Del Mar Terrace starting on the West side

Week of 11/2:

Marbella Lane, starting on the West Side

Week of 11/9:

Marbella Lane, continue working East

Begin Monterey Point SFH’s beginning West to East

Week of 11/16:

Finish Monterey Point SFH’s

Begin Marbella Drive, beginning West to East

Week of 11/23:

Finish Marbella Drive if needed

Touch ups as needed

 

Landscaping Updates:

The pruning team will be continuing on Del Mar Terrace and will move to Marbella Drive the week of 10-26-20.

IPM application will be completed by the end of the week.

Annuals are currently being planted in all the common areas for the season.

Maintenance and Landscaping Requests 

All requests for maintenance or landscaping should be submitted through the Marbella Lakes website at www.marbellalakeshoa.com to ensure your request is handled promptly.   Emergency Irrigation Hotline phone number: 239-643-4471.

Mulch Application – The mulch application for the community is scheduled for the 1st week in November.   More details to follow closer to the date.

Palm Tree Trimming – Palm tree trimming for the community has been scheduled for the 1st week in November by Roots Up Tree Service.

Pressure washing of the driveways and walkways for the condos will be scheduled the week of January 25th with Crown Roofing.  More details to follow once we get closer to the date.

Marbella Lakes Owners Association Board of Directors Meeting Budget Meeting

Monday, November 9th at the Clubhouse @ 5:30 PM

2021 proposed budget & Notice will be mailed to all homeowners 14 days in advance of the meeting.  Facemasks are required if attending the meeting.

 

Fitness Room Update

The Fitness Committee worked hard at making good decisions to upgrade our facility.  In doing so we took feedback from our community to make many of those improvements.  Recently, we have had many good suggestions of making our room better.  As a result, we are adding more space between the cardio equipment and spacing out some weight lifting equipment to provide more space for lifting.  We hope these changes make sense and ask that you leave alone and provide any feedback to Kym Bill at

 

Bob Cat Siting:

I received a report of a bob cat sighting on Marbella Drive.  Please be aware, specifically when walking your pets at night.

 

MARBELLA LAKES CLUBHOUSE AMENITIES –COVID 19 – RESIDENTS ONLY

Clubhouse House Hours – 7 am – 10 pm 

Fitness Center Hours 5 am – 10 pm 

Face Masks indoors for Fitness Center, Pickleball, and Basketball will be Strongly Recommended.  Sanitizing of all areas-including equipment, before and after usage will be required by the users.  There are disinfectant/sanitizing wipes in the dispensers in the fitness center for your use to disinfect and sanitize the equipment after each use.  Thank you for doing your part.   

Pool Hours – Sunrise to Sunset  

Entry into the Pool Area will remain only through the EAST and WEST gates. No entry will be allowed through the building which will control the amount of traffic. 

Please use every other chair unless you are with family for social distancing.   

Children’s playground – Open  

Pickleball –  Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 

9:00 am – 10:30 am – Beginner/Intermediate 

10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Advanced/Intermediate 

Indoor basketball court will be reserved for Pickleball over the summer months. 

Tennis Court Hours – 7:00 am – 10:00 pm 

Playing doubles may resume, night lights are available.   

USAGE OF THE ALL AMENITIES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK 

In all areas – SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED when applicable. 

 

Out of Office:  I will be out of the office Thursday, beginning at noon and will return on Monday, October 26th.  I will return all emails/messages at that time.

Pet Owners:

Pets must be kept on a leash of no more than six (6) feet in length and are not allowed to run loose at any time. Please pick up after your pet and dispose of it properly.  Pets must not be a noise nuisance to other residents or your neighbors.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Speed Limit – This is your weekly REMINDER, the posted SPEED LIMIT for our community is 20 MPH. Please respect our community and drive carefully.  Also, please remind guests and visitors to be mindful of the posted speed limits.  This applies to bicycle riders too, who must obey all traffic laws.
