Community Updates & Reminders – 10/16/20

Landscaping Updates:

The pruning team will be continuing West section of Marbella Lane and will move to Del Mar Terrace the week of 10/19/20

Water has been reduced to 2x’s per week to avoid fungus and heavy weed flushes throughout the community as we get into Fall.

The quarterly fertilization application for turf and plants was completed on 10/15/20.

IPM application will begin the week of 10/19/20.

Maintenance and Landscaping Requests 

All requests for maintenance or landscaping should be submitted through the Marbella Lakes website at www.marbellalakeshoa.com to ensure your request is handled promptly.   Emergency Irrigation Hotline phone number: 239-643-4471.

Mulch Application – The mulch application for the community is scheduled for the 1st week in November.   More details to follow closer to the date.

Palm Tree Trimming – Palm tree trimming for the community has been scheduled for the 1st week in November by Roots Up Tree Service.

 

Power Washing

Elite Pressure Washing continues throughout the community common areas through the month of October.

They will have their work area marked out by cones, about a 600 ft. stretch of sidewalk for each cleaning session. Residents walking the sidewalk, please divert to the road when you see the cone to prevent potential tripping over the hoses (the cones are almost 3 feet high, you can’t miss them)

The first week in November, we will begin pressure washing the sidewalks/gutters AND driveways/walkways for the single-family homes. The Board of Directors approved the cleaning of the driveways at the Board of Directors meeting held on 10/7/20.  I will be sending out the street schedule for the single-family homes once we get closer to the date. 

Pressure washing of the driveways and walkways for the condos will be scheduled the week of January 25th with Crown Roofing.  More details to follow once we get closer to the date.

MARBELLA LAKES CLUBHOUSE AMENITIES –COVID 19 – RESIDENTS ONLY

Clubhouse House Hours – 7 am – 10 pm 

Fitness Center Hours 5 am – 10 pm 

Face Masks indoors for Fitness Center, Pickleball, and Basketball will be Strongly Recommended.  Sanitizing of all areas-including equipment, before and after usage will be required by the users.  There are disinfectant/sanitizing wipes in the dispensers in the fitness center for your use to disinfect and sanitize the equipment after each use.  Thank you for doing your part.   

Pool Hours – Sunrise to Sunset  

Entry into the Pool Area will remain only through the EAST and WEST gates. No entry will be allowed through the building which will control the amount of traffic. 

Please use every other chair unless you are with family for social distancing.   

Children’s playground – Open  

Pickleball –  Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 

9:00 am – 10:30 am – Beginner/Intermediate 

10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Advanced/Intermediate 

Indoor basketball court will be reserved for Pickleball over the summer months. 

Tennis Court Hours – 7:00 am – 10:00 pm 

Playing doubles may resume, night lights are available.   

USAGE OF THE ALL AMENITIES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK 

In all areas – SOCIAL DISTANCING IS REQUIRED when applicable. 

 

Weekly Reminders:

Trash & Recycling Cans

Please remember to bring in your trash containers after pick-up on the day of collection. 

Please do not place trash cans close to mail boxes as they may get damage during pick and are expensive to replace. Please place on driveway and face the garbage can lids opening towards the street. Please keep the garage cans off the grassy areas.

 

Condo Owners – Parking

Please do not park in anyone’s driveway unless you have permission from the owner.  We have been getting a lot of complaints within the last few weeks.

Pet Owners:

Pets must be kept on a leash of no more than six (6) feet in length and are not allowed to run loose at any time. Please pick up after your pet and dispose of it properly.  Pets must not be a noise nuisance to other residents or your neighbors.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Speed Limit – This is your weekly REMINDER, the posted SPEED LIMIT for our community is 20 MPH. Please respect our community and drive carefully.  Also, please remind guests and visitors to be mindful of the posted speed limits.  This applies to bicycle riders too, who must obey all traffic laws.
