MINUTES OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF MARBELLA LAKES
OWNERS ASSOCIATION ON May 19th, 2016

- Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 6:00pm by Jennifer Fazio.
- Establish Quorum
Quorum was established with all five board members present.
- Proof of Notice
Proof of notice was given 48 hours in advance.
- Approval of Minutes
Brett made motion to accept previous minutes, Kevin seconded, all in favor motion passed.
- Treasurer’s Report
Mike Francis reported as of April, 30thst, 2016 we have total operating cash of $616,028.24 , $22,623.23 in accounts receivable and $381,693.05 in current liabilities.
- Manager’s Report
Lanny reminded everyone that the landscaper can only cut and trim to 14 feet due to insurance issues and watering times are mandated by the county. The website should be used for any landscaping questions and/or requests so everything can be tracked. Lake Masters sprayed on the 19th as a test and some littorals may be dying. Children less than 18 must be supervised by an adult when in the clubhouse. Basketball court will be refurbished and pickle ball lines created.
- Common Area Landscape Updates/Replacements
Board was presented with a major plant replacement proposal of over 20 areas from Greenscapes as some existing plantings have reached the end of their lifecycle. All new plantings will have a one year warranty. Also included is the maintenance and cleanup of the I75 berm. Jenn made a motion to approve $26,797.73, Mike Francis seconded, all in favor motion passed.
- Oak Tree Update
Jenn reported we are still in the process of getting options and prices for the oak tree removal and or replacement. A lot of due diligence must be done per the county requirements.
